FAQ

Shipper Carrier Broker
  • What is DashHaul.com?

DashHaul.com is a web-based transportation management and freight booking system that was designed to simplify and automate the Full Truckload shipping process for both shippers and carriers..

  • Do I need to download software, integrate systems or spend time training in order to use DashHaul.com?

Absolutely not! The beauty of this design and one of the things we’re most proud of is how easy DashHaul is to use from front to back. All you need is a desktop, mobile phone or tablet with an internet connection and you're ready to go.

  • How much does it cost to use DashHaul.com?

Shippers, Brokers and Carriers can sign up for FREE on DashHaul.com. A flat 3% technology fee is included in the rate that Shippers and Brokers see online but the rate they book the Carrier at will never fluctuate. With proper documentation, Carriers booked on DashHaul.com may be entitled to Accessorial and Detention charges but DashHaul will NEVER apply monthly, hidden or surcharge fees to the accepted rate at the time of booking. Transparency is our motto!

  • How is DashHaul.com different from other load boards?

DashHaul.com is not a load board. DashHaul.com is a platform where shippers and brokers come to connect with carriers in real time. The whole shipping process is executed on the site so you will never have to negotiate rates, make phone calls, send emails, documents or faxes ever again. Unlike a load board, everything on DashHaul is completely automated!

  • Where are you getting these instant rates from?

There are 2 ways rates are calculated on DashHaul.com. 1.) User-Custom Rates. This is most beneficial for high volume shippers that want predictable costs and committed capacity. 2.) Default Rates. These rates are calculated by our pricing algorithm and adjust daily. Rates can move up or down depending on different variables in the market such as available capacity, type of truck needed and location. Contact us today to determine which option best fits your needs.

  • What is the rating system all about?

This is a unique feedback system that was built to create transparency within DashHaul’s marketplace. We believe the more transparency the better and there's no better way to build confidence among users than through peer rated reviews. You will only be able to rate and review users you have worked with.

  • How does the Carrier referral program work?

This is a referral program designed for Carriers. Simply refer other Carriers to sign up on DashHaul by sending them an invite through your rewards tab in your profile. Each carrier is given a unique referral code that will be attached to them when they sign up. You will be paid every month for every load your referral(s) move within that month on DashHaul. The more referrals you have the more loads they will move the more money you can make.

  • How do Shippers pay for the truck?

DashHaul will be the single point of payment no matter how many trucks a shipper books on DashHaul.com. The shipper can either choose to be invoiced by DashHaul for services rendered or they can pay by credit card online through our secure payment portal.

  • How do the carriers get paid?

Upon acceptance of a load the money owed to the carrier will be held in an escrow account and will be reflected as a pending deposit that can be viewed, tracked and documented by the carrier on their dashboard. Once the shipment delivers and is confirmed by both parties, the carrier will be paid. In most cases the carrier will be paid within 24 hours, but no longer than 72 hours after confirmed deliveries.

  • Does DashHaul insure my freight?

Yes, we have insurance for every shipment that is moved on DashHaul so your freight is always protected.
